Pankaj 'Darpan', a resident of Parsadi Lal Road, gave a modern touch to the Moradabadi Ramlila. Pankaj himself developed the technique of running the background dialogue to the music in Ramlila with the help of a laptop. 54-year-old Pankaj Darpan used to study in basic school in Company Bagh as a child. Then I wanted to act in Ramlila. When Ramlila reached the group, he asked them to bring Hanuman's mask. I bought the mask with pocket money, but I didn't get the roll, but I was beaten at home. He continued to come and go in Muhallon Ki Ramlila. He got his first chance as Bharat on the Parade Ground stage when he came in contact with colorist Balveer Pathak at the age of fifteen. Acted till youth. When he entered the photography business, he could not find time for Ramlila. That year again he staged two days at Manokamana Hanuman Mandir in Railway Colony. After this he formed his team. Troubled by the lack of behind-the-scenes workers, Darpan applied his photography experience to Ramlila. Started music, conversation from laptop. He revived the Moradabadi style in many cities of the country. He is the only director who handles everything himself, from props to make-up. Pankaj Darpan has staged Lord Ram's land in Ayodhya through his committee. Not only this, he has staged in all the cities of Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh.
